The dry leaf of this Premium Tian Jian is very subdued and without much obvious aroma. The light fragrances that do tickle the nose are sweet, dark chocolate and gentle dry hay notes. The golden amber liquor is also greedy but features a teaser of dark chocolate aromas. It becomes evident on the first sip that everything was saved for the liquor. The liquor flavour overall is bold and satisfying, with a subtle tartness plays on the sides of the mouth while the incredibly thick liquor seems to be exploding with dark chocolate essence. Silky and smooth, elements hints of sweet and tart playing off each other create a lingering flavour that will have you savouring this premium tian jian for many infusions!
