We’re excited to have Jiu Qu Hong Mei back in our line up. It’s been a while since I had this tea, so I was initially surprised how smooth and relatively ‘dry’ it was, with hints of nuttiness reminiscent of our Guan Yin Hong. Made from the same cultivar as Long Jing, Jiu Qu Hong Mei delivers an incredibly smooth mouth feel, with hints of sweetness and dark chocolate, this tea rendered many delicious infusions with the sweetness presenting a slight crescendo towards the later infusions.
